Applying to a private party

Some events are private parties: the host reads every request and decides who comes. When you apply, your answers go to the host, who reviews them personally.

An application is not a booking. Nothing is reserved and nothing is charged until the host approves you. You can withdraw at any time before they decide.

An approval is one host's decision about one event. It is not an identity check, and it does not carry over to other events or other hosts. A decline does not affect your account.

If the event passes before the host reviews your application, it closes and we tell you by email.

The address

Private parties are often in people's homes. Until the host shares the exact address, you see only the area. When the host shares it, we let you know and it appears on your ticket.
