Checking in at an event

You can check in from your ticket when you arrive. With location on, your phone's position has to be within 250 m of the venue, and the reading has to be accurate to 100 m or better.

If location does not work, ask the host for their check-in code: 6 characters that change every 60 seconds, so it only works for people who are actually there.

The host can also mark you present at the door.

Why it matters

Checking in is how the platform knows you came. Attendance is what your reliability is built from, and only people who attended can rate the event.
